Privacy Policy

What we collect
Kurzum does not collect personal data. There are no user accounts, no logins, and no profiles. If we ever add a newsletter signup, only the email address you submit will be stored, and only for that purpose.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and measure performance. It sets no tracking cookies and does not follow you across websites. To count unique visitors per day without storing personal identifiers, Vercel generates a session hash from your IP address and user agent that rotates every 24 hours. This hash is treated as a device-level analytics identifier and is not linked to your name, email, or any other identifying data.
Third-party services
- Supabase — stores the article cache. Servers are hosted in the EU. No personal data is stored there.
- Google Gemini API — generates the AI summaries. Only article titles and bodies (already public) are sent; nothing about you.
- Public RSS feeds — articles are fetched from publicly available news feeds (DW, Tagesschau, etc.). We link back to the original source.
- Vercel — hosts the website. Standard server logs (IP, user agent) may be processed for security and reliability, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties for marketing. Data is only processed by the services listed above strictly for the purpose of running this app.
Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to access, correct, port, or delete any data we may hold about you. Because we don’t collect personal data from anonymous visitors, in most cases there is nothing to retrieve — but if you have ever contacted us by email or signed up for a newsletter, write to ravipada33@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
